I was looking at Arizona Fall League Stats, and Cale Lansville is ok for what is an offensive league. They are hitting him around a little, but he is 5th in the league in ERA (2.92)

Casan Evans looks just like Tony Vitello.

This guy has several videos of prospects from the ULL scrimmage on his Twitter. Worth checking out
Check out the RPMs on Schmidt’s curveball lol. He’s an alien

I’ve seen him twice and yes he is going to be a good one. Great stuff, athletic, competitive

Ware is alot better than I expected. He shoves.

He's struck out everyone this fall

Yeah, Schmidt's stuff is as major league ready as it gets at that age.
They have to hope he avoids injury and wins a NC
Otherwise impossible to comprehend taking the risk
He must not become a cautionary tale. Would definitely have ramifications.

There’s more risk in not being good vs getting injured. And even then it’s not terribly risky unless his arm falls off. As long as he maintains his stuff they will always love his upside

Another commit incoming. Jay put out the bat signal.

Hoping it’s Chandler Hart out of Allen. He and Kruz Schoolcraft also took OV this weekend.

I guess tomorrow starts the fall signing period for baseball. We should see a little more clarity on the 2025 class.

Hayes Holton, 2026 RHP from Loranger, committed to Mississippi State. He was an in state kid I was hoping we would pull.

Does the team have an open practice today? If so, does anyone know the time?

LSU target Andruw Giles committed to Oregon. He was formerly committed to A&M I believe and is summer teammates with a few of our commits.
Also, Mason Braun has signed his LOI.

Project - I see that we've had a few targets commit elsewhere in the last couple of weeks.
This is by no means me being negative as I trust Jay on all evals/recruiting, just truly curious. Are these big misses? Or lower end guys who wouldn't be significant contributors as freshman?
