Wofford catcher Daniel Jackson has committed to Georgia.

I know we're going to be taking some more portal guys, but they seem to be going extremely hard in the portal. I know at least a few of the bats they have committed are draft eligible.

This is their portal list so far:
C - Daniel Jackson, Wofford
1B - Charlie Jones, Air Force
2B - Ryan Black, UTA
3B - Ryland Zaborowski, Miami OH
OF - Robbie Burnett, UNC Asheville
P - Davis Chastain - Georgia State

That's a lot.

That is a lot of portal additions and it does not help out the not so good pitching staff that they had.

Seems to be a uga trend, going heavy on older players, worked pretty well for them this year

Kendall posted a clock/timer emoji. I think in the past he has done that when something big is about to drop? Any ideas?

I think that generally has more to do with coaching news. I think it’s a Texas and Pierce thing, personally.

I'm worried about HC openings in the Carolinas pulling Josh Jordan away at some point. I don't think those are high profile enough yet though.

But yeah, Kendall is definitely playing with the emotions of Texas fans.

Trying to read the tea leaves of his recent tweets, I think a Tennessee Vitello extension will be announced soon.

They've been working on it for a few weeks now. Sexton was in Knoxville during the regional.

I saw someone retweet Kirby Connell's commitment tweet which was back in 2017, not long after Vitello got there. The stadium is unrecognizable. The amount of work he's gotten them to do to upgrade everything there has been incredible. I think he's on his 4th athletic director now, weirdly, but he's building a legacy there with the success on the field and the upgrades to the program off the field.

He's getting pretty much anything he asks for there. IMO, he's not leaving there.
