Anyone hear of a LHP from Michigan State entering the transfer portal, that LSU and him have mutual interest?

Neal transferring with no other catchers on the roster would just be baffling to me:
It would be. I can see Kling, with us returning 3 guys starting over him at the end of the year + us recruiting more outfielders in the portal. But Neal is basically locked in to start next year. It would have to be more to the situation with him being disgruntled about something.

That would be Joseph Dzierwa. LHP sophomore that is in the portal.

Another bit of proof that this thread is better at baseball recruiting news than any pay board: Dorsey was first identified here on May 6th as a guy to keep an eye on.

Sammy Dutton in the portal per D1 portal tracker

Right now we're either at 51/40 or 49/40 depending on the status of a couple HS guys.
This is pre-draft, which means we can afford to add a lot more guys.

I got 46/40 when you take out the obvious White, Holman, Jump, Hurd, Griffin, Schmidt, and Caminiti.

Who are some of your favorite guys we might get to campus?

I'm at 44 when I take those guys out.
I've taken off everyone that's hit the portal publicly. And Zeb, who hasn't shown up on the D1 portal for some reason but it's publicly announced that he's transferring.
Without Arambula and Victorian, we'd be at like 42.
Still looking for anything related to Lape, Cooley, Thompson from last year's off roster redshirt class.

In the portal, I like the kid from Ohio State whose name is hard to spell off hand. I like Michigan State kid who also has a difficult last name.
on position players, I don't really have a good idea, I'm less enthralled with Kilen than others are.
I don't have any indication of any of these guys interest in us though.

Thank you. I guess I’m more referring to our current commits. Was wondering if we got any positive news regarding stocks dropping

How many pitchers do you think we are looking to add? Right now I'm counting 8-9 guys from this year's roster that I would consider likely to be back next year.
Edit: Nvm, you responded to my comment in the other thread.

Dorsey looks like a really good bullpen option. Great news considering outside of Herring and Guidry our bullpen was a mess

Arrambide's stock has dropped, too early to say he's likely to get here though.
Mavrick Rizy seems to be leaning very hard toward college, per some draft write ups I've seen. He's throwing very well in a collegiate summer league right now though and for a New England kid to put together good tape against college kids makes it tough to be hopeful.
Haven't heard much lately about Curiel. A while back, Baseball America thought he was a guy who could get to campus.
David Hogg's stock has dropped and I feel pretty good about him getting here. Michael Ryan too. I think both are guys that could play shortstop but also both are guys that look to have a better bat than a guy like Roellig.

I didn't have him marked off yet because I didn't see him in D1. So that is one off. Not sure where else I would be different but we are close. Like you originally pointed out, we have plenty room to add right now.
