once you get to the 6-10 rounds you will see a lot of the senior signs and terms they agree to so teams can save money
Perfect example is Dugas getting drafted where he did for a paltry signing bonus

This guy represents the players
His agency does most of the LSU deals
Doesn’t provide funding to get said players

Any ideas on who replaces Holman's role out of the portal?
Profile being a talented, veteran righty that has proven he can log 70-80+ innings as a weekend starter already?

I don’t know much about the portal but I think we might have to wait until the portal really gets going and you see these proven guys entering

Holman didn't enter the portal until June 22 last year, we're only looking at the appetizers right now as most programs still go through exit interviews and/or still playing.

Herring and Anderson would very good first options, before we get to the portal

Fair. Just didn't know if there was anybody already in the portal that fit that mold.

64 Analytics SEC transfer list
This list I just came across has Zeb Ruddell on the list of guys in the portal. D1 Baseball transfer tracker does not have him listed as entering the portal yet.
They are a good follow and are usually on top of the transfer stuff though. So maybe Kendall just isn’t up to date at the moment. I know plenty players are entering right now. I’m sure it’s tough to keep up.

Herring and Anderson have to be leading candidates for a weekend starting role in '25. Would love for Jay to bring in a proven Friday night caliber righty. Easier said than done I'm sure, but he was able to do it the last 2 seasons.
To me Shores is not a known commodity at this point. Who knows how he will return from injury, and he obviously hasn't proven he can stay healthy for a workhorse role yet.

Looks like Sheerin was a true freshman also.

Kilen 1BB 15K in conference games, .288 OB%. He could definitely benefit from an approach overhaul and more strength, it looks like he has a good loose swing and there can be more power there.

Would we take the Louisville shortstop over Lebron from Alabama if we think he's entering too?

Is Braswell done eligibility wise?
Posted on 6/4/24 at 11:31 pm to GeauxFish31
Braswell has another year. I'm not enough of an expert to comment on his draft potential. Of course, if he comes back, he loses what leverage he has, if any.
