Him and Mitch are good.

But they should probably stay away from talking about the draft. They don't have a grasp on the rules and the strategies teams employ now.

The rules have changed so much since they went through it that they can't really rely on their own experiences to talk about it, unless it's from the standpoint of what a player may be feeling/thinking leading up to or during the draft process.

the audio on their show is horrible. And i honestly cannot stand their long-winded questions. They are usually only as strong as their guests tbh

Does the new NCAA rule for football staffers and analyst also apply to other sports. Hence, new roles for Tutko and Wanaka would still allow them to be on field coaches at practice.

The draft is not a strong point for them for the reasons you said and when they talk about recruits they do not seem to do much homework on the guys they are trying to talk about.

I do like listening to their opinions of the team in season though.

Couldnt be more right here, its 1 reason I rarely watch/listen to any of his show. It makes me feel like they dont even watch/listen to their own show otherwise it would really noticeable right away they need to fix their mics/post-processing/sound deadening and such

I turn the volume up because The guests mics are always low, and Mahtook doesn’t know how to talk into a microphone. Then they all laugh & my speakers blow out because my volume is up. I want to listen but I can’t deal with that. It’s not isolated either, it’s every show

Long winded questions wouldn’t be the worst thing.

They had William Schmidt on for an hour and asked him maybe 3 questions. The rest of the time was selling him on the college experience that he already committed to.

It looks like they pulled some doofus from the rant to run everything. That long haired frick makes the show even worse imo. I think with quality production it would be a much more enjoyable show. It’s hard not to like Mikie and Mitch imo. But the whole Lloyd thing isn’t worth the 1 time out of 100 he actually says something funny.

And yes the whole interview with Schmidt was a little odd. They spent the whole time tying to make sure he felt he made the right decision or something.

Speaking of Jonah Williams and Moscona. This is a link to his latest YouTube video about Jonah Williams.

I can't speak to this.

But this is complete bullshite and he should be ashamed of himself for saying this. Again, it's flat out sad that there are people who think he's knowledgeable about this stuff and will believe what he's saying.

I couldn’t hear him. Just the guy next to him they never introduced laughing into the microphone

Where did this Jonah Williams MLB draft thing even start?

Mo Hampton was a Top 50 national baseball recruit and was an average NCAA baseball player.

That's the guy from Gordon's office that handles the NIL stuff for baseball players. He gets to go on the show any time they bring on one of the baseball guys through the Gordon NIL deal.

RHP Brett Antolick (A&M) has committed to ECU.

Someone we had interest in early, but with the other signings was not a priority. Just updating for completeness.

C Kaleb Burns to UC Riverside per 64 analytics portal tracker. Do not see an official announcement from him.

He literally spoke 10x more than Schmidt did.

And he obviously didn’t ask his wife if his shirt was a little too snug before leaving the house. Rookie mistake for the dad bod crowd.

Anywho…do we want this Jonah Williams guy or what?

I guess. If he's that good on the football field.

But with roster spots about to become very scarce, I'm not entirely convinced we need to spend one on a fringe player just to feed his ego.

The track record of two sport guys in the modern era of college sports is not great.
