If herring comes back
Herring, Shores, Anderson, Sheerin, Mayers , Cowan and Eyanskn will all but fighting for the weekend.
We’ll have to see about Noot and any freshmen who makes it to campus.

It's all good man. The best always seem to shine when the lights are bright and the competition is intense. Tonight, AE showed that he is very comfortable with talented teammates and obviously Herring is as well. If Herring does leave I think it's because MLB has met his requirements.

Here is who seems to be on the roster going into '25. This includes some guesses on the draft side.
RHP
1. Guidry
2. Woods
3. Noot
4. Shores
5. Mayers
6. Sheerin
7. Cowan
8. Eyanson
9. Dorsey
10. Benge
11. Rizy
12. Victorian
This includes Holman, Hurd, Schmidt, Ulloa, and Hayden signing professionally
LHP
13. Anderson
14. Primeaux
15. Herring
This includes Bateman signing professionally, Loer signing/staying in portal, and Herring returning
Catcher
16. Arrambide
17. Priester
18. Yamin
This includes Arrambide and Priester passing on the draft and Yamin moving to C full time. Does not include Nolan WIlson
First Base
19. Larson
20. Hernandez
21. Schmidt
22. Costello
This includes Jones signing professionally
Second Base
23. Milam
24. Michael Ryan
25. Reaves
Short Stop
26. Braswell
27. Dickinson
28. Hogg
29. Casan Evans
Third Base
30. Fountain
Outfield
31. Brown
32. Paul
33. Josh Pearson
34. Beck
35. Stanfield
36. Curiel
This includes Stanfield making it to campus
Utility
37. Frey
38. John Pearson
39. Daniel Hardin
Unknown
40. Trenton Lape
41. Dylan Thompson
I know some of the positions might look off. Really just trying to establish some sort of depth chart for my brain, not that these are final by any means. I'm also sure I missed someone. I had to have. If not, we definitely still have a little room to play with if you don't mind having a couple guys redshirt off the roster for a season. That, or you lose more in the draft (which is likely).
Just for fun, this could be your day 1 lineup.
1. Stanfield CF
2. Dickinson 3B
3. Larson DH
4. Hernandez 1B
5. Milam 2B
6. Beck LF
7. Yamin C
8. Brasswell SS
9. Curiel RF
Friday - Herring (if he comes back, just pencil him in for Friday to start the season)
Saturday - Shores (100 mph on Saturday will be fun)
Sunday - Cowan (The Sundayist guy we've had since AJ Labas. Lower velo, sinker primary, and a whole lot of strikes).
Midweek - Mayers (he seems like a perfect midweek candidate until he gets his command.)
On paper, this is either the best or second best team in America behind A&m. preseason top four is pretty clearly going to be Tenn, A&m, LSU, Arkansas. Now we could have a horrendous draft night and lose like 6 of these guys and that throws everything off. We could also get a surprise like Schmidt or Bateman. Time will tell.

I doubt we see Beck play much, if any, outfield next season. He’s your DH with Brown in LF imo

I guess he’s a draft risk but you also have Conner Ware for a LHP.

Beck dh
Brown in rf
No idea who catches

Pearson will provide much leadership next year. He will be like Beloso in his final year. Plus, pretty cool to play with your little brother at LSU.

With the transfer portal, what was the decision behind that and when did you come to the decision that that was something you were going to explore?
I see LSU all over the television. I mean, women’s basketball, men’s basketball, football, baseball, they’re literally everywhere. I’ve been wanting to go to LSU for a long time, I don’t think it was a very hard decision. I got down there and liked everything about it. I like the staff and I like the position that they’re gonna put me in to go out there and help them win games. So, just really enjoyed the experience and decided that was my spot.
The guy that bought me a drink at Flemings really sealed the deal.
Ok, so I added that last part.

Ya Pearson will be in the opening day lineup. I look forward to seeing Curiel but will never write in a freshman

I'm wondering if Harden is still on schedule to come for this season or if they want him to spend another year in JUCO.

Moscona just said on his Podcast
After Eyanson visited LSU he went to Wake, went to Florida, went to Knoxville and had plans to visit Texas before making his commitment to LSU
Nope.

It's definitely sad that he's consistently as wrong as he is.
It's even sadder that there are people out there that have no idea and actually think he knows what he's talking about.

i mean to be fair...he is usually right except for baseball stuff and still prolly know more than all the others on air. And he is just going by what the coaches tell him.
i know everyone likes to shite on him because he is outspoken but he is a really good guy and has way way way more sources than people give him credit for.
