It has to be very tricky for Jay with infielders. You have the possibility of Braswell returning, which you welcome, but that muddies the waters some in what you can promise for incoming infielders. You also have some high level infield recruits that might get through the draft. You have to consider what your portal adds mean to them.
And it's got to be similarly tricky with catchers. You're bringing Priester and Arrambide in. Both could take draft money or come to campus.
I know the general sentiment is to just load the boat and figure it out later, and I don't disagree with that, but I won't discount what each piece means to another piece of the puzzle. Pitching is a bit different in that you can just load them up and fit them in how they perform. You have a lot of different roles to fill on the mound, even if you get good news in the draft. It's not exactly like that with position players.

infielders should be running to LSU. At some point he has to promise someone something
he had 3 SS recruits in last class, and they have either left or arent in the SS plans

What should he promise them more than a chance to earn a spot? Give them a starting job?

Looks like he started his career on the mound at Grayson CC then on to K-State. Transferred to Incarnate Word and became a hitter. Mostly a DH.

Stockpiling bats. Somebody will hit good pitching and be able to play a position of need. Or, maybe we just shove on the mound, hope we catch a few balls, and mash. Very interesting to watch unfold.

Did we even get a tiger emoji?

We’re loading up on OF/DH/1B transfers, surely one of those dudes can plug up 3B decently lmao

Kinda funny, kinda not funny. I'll be honest, I wasn't sold on Tanks at 3B when we made the deal. I felt like he'd end up back at 1B or DH after just showing some competence at 3B. But, you make that deal 11/10 times and just go with it. It was a really, really good deal. I'm getting more and more intrigued with how it all plays out. Not saying we have a Tanks coming in, but I trust Jay has some kind of plan.

I’ve questioned every ranking of the departing transfers but love the add after seeing 64 has this guy top 25.
