If jared jones comes back he does not need to try and play catcher
LSU needs to find the best defensive catcher and ride that

I check this thread at least 50 times per 24 hours. While I don’t post much here, I am certainly proud owner of numerous up and down arrows each time I come here.
What absolutely gals my arse is seeing this thread at the bottom of the page each time I come here. Baseball recruiting is the hottest thing happening at this time on the recruiting board.

I saw a Twitter Space’ LSU shenanigans:…. One of the 5-6 listeners at the time I was on was Grant Knipp. He is also following back the lsu coaches and a couple lsu fan sites.
I’d be shocked if he doesn’t go pro as he is almost 23, but it’s fun to dream.

Pro ball doesn’t value these guys highly. The opportunities for him would be the same next year as they are this year, with a similarly short leash.
He could guarantee an extra year of baseball in his life by coming to LSU.

They will end up promoting the pitching coach. Maybe try for a couple big names, but chalk up this season to him and give the job to him. Risky, but could be good.
