He has a ton of talent. Who cares where he goes to school.

Been watching the kid play since before he was in high school. He’s the real deal. St Fred’s has had kids play baseball at lsu in the past, it’s just a small 1a school so you don’t hear about them as much.

Players at his level have been playing against the best with travel ball from a young age, so he has played with and against very good players. He’s an incredible athlete and has played all over the field. Very strong arm, fast, great instincts, very quick hands at the plate.

I’m very aware of the athletes in the area. Most of the good kids tend to leave and go to ocs, Neville, or WM. Was simply asking a question. Can’t find any recruiting ranking on him

Per PG
101 overall in the country
# 2 ranked overall in the state
Stand out at the PBR future games

Yeah the best recruiter in college baseball took his commitment because he wasn't good. You actually had to ask this?

That’s simply not true. Use a simple Google search and Patrick would come up in the top 5 of every LA state recruiting ranking list for baseball.

Yes he’s good, also an All State football player as a freshman & sophomore. He quit football in July to concentrate solely on Baseball. It’s a huge hit to the Football team as you can expect, he was a CB and WR.
He actually went to Ole Miss/LSU game as a football recruit with his Family. CBK was on the field with them before game being recruited as a DB. Now it’s all Baseball all the time. Plays on big time travel teams since he was 12 w/ kids from Cali, Florida, was only La kid on team.
Great Athlete and Super Kid, family is top notch- mother is Principal at Elementary Catholic School in Monroe. I have seen him play for several years in summer leagues, pee wee, and high school. BEST Player on the field in any game he participated in at 1a level. Straight As #1 in class. My son is in Jr High and got to work out with him in weight room and stuff with varsity some and they’re (younger kids) are in awe of him. He’s the real deal obviously but he’ll graduate at St Fred’s due to mother’s relationship to school, principal at feeder school. I’m so happy for him but wish he would’ve stayed on football team, he’s a difference maker there too. He made a difference so far this year not being there in a 5-3 team, with him they would be 7-1. He’s that Dude. Now the playing field is level with all Dudes, but he can damn sure hold his own.
6’1” 190 still growing
4.5 40, can dunk a basketball
WR caught anything his way

Thank you for this context. I was wondering if he still had intentions of playing football. I was wondering if he’d end up being dual sport here.

Have we figured out who the tiger was for yesterday?

I haven’t seen anything yet

saw wild posted something about Seo having surgery. I missed him being hurt, anyone have any idea what happened?

Pitched the first weekend of Fall and came out with an apparent injury. Today had a bandage on both sides and the back of his right elbow. Unless the process has changed this is not TJ which is typically a rather large incision. I'm no expert but hopefully he will be good to go in the spring

Yeah, if it's Tommy John you have that big cast on it. Seems more like a muscle sprain if it's just that tape

It is Bateman:
I was literally looking at the rankings earlier this week and was like "Damn, it'd be awesome to have a big 6'8" dude in our class" I didn't think it was really think.
Obviously a draft risk, but you just never know these days now

Bateman was once an Az St commit
also a big time RH power hitter and you may hear some 2-way chatter
Dmitri Young coached him at Camarillo HS. LSU also just received a commitment from Young's nephew, who seems to play on the So Cal Giants with Bateman.
