Project, did you do a post on summer assignments? I know mic Paul and Zeb are already playing. Any signees? Seem Millam was doing predraft workouts with the reds.

Ruddell was raking during all of the P&G games before the season. He should be a good player and happy to hear he's developing and doing the same in summer ball.

with the fall he had I really hope he comes back and competes but would certainly understand if he wants more guaranteed playing time
Pearson and Kling will be two of the OF's and it will be a battle for the third spot assuming Jobert goes pro (I don't think Jobert's draft stock will be any higher if he did come back)

There been any more rumblings about Hagen Smith entering the portal? Saw he is going play with the US collegiate team over the summer

The rumor didn't really make sense to me. By the time the rumor came out, Wes had already taken the UGA job. And he's likely the one that originally recruited Smith (I don't know for certain).

Speaking of smoke and no fire, I saw on the other board you said Silva to Miss State was not happening. That confirmed or just fans saying they didn't want Silva or hopefully not getting Silva?

To expand on this, Washington State was targeting former LSU assistant Eddie Smith as their top candidate. He just announced a new contract at Utah Valley.
So a guy chose to stay at WAC school over going to a Pac 12 school in his home state. Washington State is down bad.

Seeing oregon state up close, it’s amazing how great of a coach Pat Casey is. I can’t think of many coaches who could build what he did from scratch. It wasn’t exactly a big step above Wazzu before he got to OSU.

Steve Roberson over at 247 says it’s not happening but the rumors were true and he was a strong candidate

After reading his resume, I wouldn’t be angry at the hire but there’s no doubt lsu could do better. Maybe he’s just that good and could give Jay some continuity. I. Cool with whoever jay wants.

I live in SC. I would imagine he signs pro or goes to SC. Many of his friends and current teammates are going or go to SC. No inside info just my guess.
