Payton Tolle from Wichita State in the portal. 2 way guy 97K/19BB with .311/13 HR/50 RBI this year. Have to think Jay will be on him immediately

Justin Loer’s entire Twitter feed is basically pro LSU so I would be pretty stunned at this point if he’s not silently committed.

Depending on how the rest of the staff is compiled could push him potentially to the pen, but he has starter stuff.

Yeah I'm pretty sure Jay is telling any potential transfers to hold off committing until LSU season ends

The left handed Paul Skenes. Pretty impressive stuff. Projected as the #9 draft prospect in the class of 2024. We could potentially have Coleman, Tolle, and Hurd as the weekend rotation (in no specific order). Two lefties coming from just last year in 2022 when we only had 2 Left Handed pitchers in Hasty and Cooper.

Doyle isn't clueless. He's not a draft whisperer or anything but he was the main guy for Prospects Live before he started with this new gig Future Star Series.
