I don't see Jay's philosophy of stealing bases changing much
He's not giving up outs on the basepaths
I doubt the catchers LSU E faced were anywhere close to being SEC caliber

I don't think Jay will change a whole lot, either. But, seeing how runs come at such a premium for the majority of the postseason, it's an option to consider even if only less sparingly than he has.
You don't just steal on the catcher, btw. You mainly steal on the pitcher and situation. If a kid has a knack for stealing bases, he can do it against any catcher if the pitcher isn't careful and the coach calls the running game at the right time.

Jay did say in an interview back in July that he wanted to incorporate some running into his offense. So you might see an increase in stolen bases this season. Said we had some speed basically.

I actually could see it changing a little. He’s proven he can do change his style to fit his team. He did it at Arizona. Mac Bingham did an interview about how he was working on base stealing bc he wants to take more bags next year. I’ve got a hard time thinking it wasn’t part of the talks with Jay. Looking at our roster from a macro standpoint, that style makes a lot more sense for next years squad.

Sounds like Montgomery is going to pop for Texas A&M this weekend. Steve Robertson basically conceded him and they are in full meltdown mode. He apparently has a hitting coach in Houston that is the main factor and being closer to his gf who is at UT.

He’d be a big pickup for the Ags but not enough to win the West.
He’d be a big pickup for LSU as well and possibly a missing piece to going from an Omaha team to a team with an actual shot of going back to back nattys.

Again if true, he should've gone and played ball in his money year with his high school buddies at State instead of his connections at F a g land. I'm amazed for a kid who is book smart and went to Stanford he doesn't show any common sense.
