As I continued reading it was stated it was bad reporting and that Cam has in fact no signed...but keeping my post because it still would have been a terrible move if he signed for $2.875 mil under asking price.

I see Frey as being 1st in line behind Bingham, Kling, Pearson, Jones, and Travinski-- basically a "super sub". Which would probably nearly equal starter at bats throughout the season anyway.

Yea Frey could be in a spot to play multiple spots and cobble together almost starter at bats.

Then if someone goes down or in a slump he could step in.

Bullpen. Starters need to be able to control multiple pitches. Right now he’s a flame thrower who could give you an inning at a time.

Exactly what I thought. Maybe he does, but it sure seems like on twitter, he only does this with LSU. I never see tweets saying Amick will be at Tennessee barring a surprise or Molina at Arkansas, etc. he seems to only do this with LSU
