But am I the only one that thinks his stuff isn’t as good as people make it out to be? I feel like people are hanging onto his potential from 3 years ago.
The "stuff" is not the question. He has elite stuff he just couldn't command it. Theres a reason that when he was in the zone he was hard to hit. His slider is a mix between a Cutter and slider. So depending on how he throws it he either has late sharp action at 89-92 mph like a cutter that produces a lot of swing and miss or weak contact. Or he has 21" of break at 86-89 mph which is an elite slider. Not to mention his FB sits 94-96 with good movement. So again his stuff is very good and is not the question mark with Little. It is whether or not he can command his pitches in the zone and not give up walks.

Guidry better let him pick up the short putts and take a few mulligans.
Whatever it takes, GT!

There’s a difference between “stuff” and “pitchability”. If we’re talking strictly the movement/velocity of his pitches he’s top tier of the staff. Now control and locating that “stuff” is where the other guys in the room passed him up big time. Skenes is the perfect example of having both insane stuff and pitchability, Coop is probably a good example of not having the best “stuff”, just located it super well. Ack is a perfect example, doesn’t really have a big “out” pitch he can point to, just locates his pitches super well to get guys out.

I’m so glad to hear it wasn’t the lsu course
That initially ran through my head, and then I quickly kicked that out.
More wondering if it was U. Club...

Fidel is on campus living in the dorms with Jake Brown and Kade Anderson. He’s taking 1 summer class and working out.

Thank you for the update, that's great to hear.
I think when we're talking about potential RHP contributors his name needs to be mentioned more. He had a little bit of an up and down year in JUCO, but his last two games were great.

Is Santa Maria golf course where the NIL deals go down?
Someone check McKernan's golf tee times.

I think Ulloa will burst onto the scene with the lab, Yeskie to work with, and tons of talent around him. He'll be one that really elevates his game quickly.

Remember that the zone in SEC play was absurdly tight this year. That may have affected his command confidence as well.
All that movement can be tough to reign it in.

I was talking about stuff, not pitchability. I’m the odd ball apparently, but wouldn’t put him in the same (elite) tier as Skenes, Taylor, Shores, Hurd, and Floyd.
Not saying he sucks, I just don’t think it’s “elite” like everyone else thinks. I would love to be proven wrong and it to click for him.
