i just hate to lose a quality player who grew up in our backyard to an in division rival. even if the roster doesn't scream a need for him.

idk Bingham is a grad transfer and wasn’t drafted.
What are the roster limit rules for 2023? Is it still 35 players of any classification plus 5 who played during the Covid year?
I’ve seen mention of 40 but it is truly 40 of any type or is it still 35 + 5?

Yeah, would bingham count against the 35?

From what I've been able to find, it's just a straight 40 with no delineation for COVID year guys.

To be fair, he did have 91 hits in 58 games. Only 43K. Great addition. 9 more hits in 6 less games, 21 less strikeouts. Montgomery edges him in Homeruns and walks. Overall, I would not be sad if we had Bingham over Montgomery, plus he knows Jay's system.

Montgomery is elite elite outfielder though right?

He is great, he had 2 errors last year and Bingham had 3.

I think Montgomery has an absolute cannon arm. Bingham may too, honestly don't know.

Fun stat to add. His OBP was .432 for 2023. LSU's team OBP for 2023? .432.

TigerKing,
Only 7 posts, but started off with some solid info. The 7th championship get you interested in LSU baseball?

Nah, so I am a longtime fan. I have gone to every SEC Tournament since 1996 with my dad. I am a Hammond native that unfortunately lives just south of Birmingham. I have a weekly show that I do with two buddies about college baseball. I have followed this forum for years, to me Project is a God haha.

Well, shite, glad you joined. Spread the word on your show.
Oh, and in case you didn’t know there is a quote feature that comes in handy from time to time.

Hi Corbett is a relatively weird field too.
366 left but 410 Left Center, 392 Dead Center, 405 Righr Center and then 349 RF it’s all straight lines.
so dead center is short for dead center but everything else is pretty big

Typical landing spot for an Episcopal grad. He wanted LSU, but there's no room.

I wonder if this is the good news Hunt was talking about or if he’s referring to someone else
