It’ll take more than Gordon. This guy is proven elite on an Omaha team. Stanford guy with leadership qualities similar to Skenes. I think he’d have a very similar 1 year impact on LSU.

Right, I know he is from MS. I thought when the possibility was first mentioned here it was because of a rumor from a State board where they were getting him so he could be closer to home, and the thought was maybe we can hijack it since we’re also close.
Either way, I assume it will move pretty quick since coaches will want to finalize rosters after the draft is over.

So Cameron Johnson is the highest rated player available per MLB.com. The 2nd highest guy is Roch Cholowsky, who is a 2 sport guy committed to UCLA and basically said don’t draft me.

It was on the State board where it was mentioned. Don't remember a specific school. They just said closer to home. Maybe it was assumed that State and Ole Miss would maybe be the leading candidates.
