Anything new on Paul Skenes?

I would've much rather us go all in on Skenes vs little or Hurd. The upside is their for both however with Little being demoted last last season and Hurds injury there is is the possibility neither get on track.
We needed a for sure bonafide starting pitcher for weekend rotation.

You know we could get Little and Hurd and also go "all in" on Skenes, right?
I mean that's literally what we're doing lol.
Also it'd be incredibly dumb to put all your eggs in one basket. That's what Maneiri often did with high level prospects all the time. No backup plan.
shite that's what Ed Orgeron did in recruiting. look at how that worked out the last couple years.

I feel like they have been on Skenes for a while.
And if they didn't get Skenes without Hurd or Little then what? Those guys aren't affecting Skenes' decision. If anything they should only help him want to be at LSU. And I certainly don't think it made them go after him any less.
I like how Coach Johnson is attacking the portal.
Some preferred Waldrep over Skenes. However, he chose Florida. I like Skenes, because he also hits.
You also get Hurd for 2 years. I have been saying that I would like to see LSU add one more pitcher. Hopefully Skenes commits to LSU soon. LSU is bringing in a tremendous class and they are returning some really talented arms as well. I have no criticisms.

I saw that yesterday or this morning. I was confused by that news. Early on he was a lock to go to Mississippi State and then I thought he said he was going back to Tulane.
