Update On Skenes (TIFWIW)
On Sunday i was told by a close friend who knows the boosters we had outbid Florida for Waldrep, but that there was a chance he still wouldn't come here
Today I was talking to my same close friend about Skenes and he said he that one of the boosters told him that Skenes has agreed to an NIL deal with us already
|Again, same as last time, just passing along what i was told. I have no way to confirm this myself|

Maybe I am dumb, but how exactly does Skenes transfer out of a military academy? I thought you were locked in to those and they didn't really care about your athletic career?

Yea, I’m interested to know if Lansville was hurt last year. He was by far our highest rated signee and barely seen the field. I know he struggled some, but I figured he would have gotten some mid week chances if healthy.
Really interested to see if Johnson can get something out of the returning guys.

Morgan gave an interview after last fall and singled him out as the best of the young pitchers. He is not playing summer ball and there were whispers that he was or is hurt. Guys who come from as far away as Colorado, you really want them to be successful early. It helps them stay with things when the going gets tough

8 Grand Canyon players have entered the portal now. I believe they’d all need waivers but I assume they’ll get since their coach just left also.
