Surprised to see Shores that low...still means nothing right now.

Lots of our guys between 60-85. Jared Jones down to about 185, he might be coming. Sorry can’t do a full layout

No change for the most part. Young dropped a good bit, Neal moved up a few spots but everyone else is within 5 spots of where they were.
Misiorowski is going to be interesting. He was the talk of the combine, but Folse and the guy who interviews all the recruits on 247 said they are hearing he’s likely to make it to campus. They are making it seem like his stock didn’t increase. MLB.com not increasing his ranking much kind of backs up the idea that he didn’t really shoot up boards like expected

MLB.com updated their draft list to 250. Haven’t dug into it yet.
Here's where everyone is falling there I can find and where this would end up in the draft with slot value if they got drafted in that position.

55. 2B Cade Doughty [2nd round - $1.373M]

I hope Brady Neal is asking for 1.5 plz. Good Tebrake stinks, he should go undrafted imo…

Based on above it seems like it would be a HUGE win to even get 6 of those 12 recruiting class guys. Crawford, Snelling and Toman are all obviously no brainer signings. That's a lot of money for Romero, Guidry, Neal, Misiorowski, Noot and Kennedy to pass up too. Kling sounds like he's in for sure and Jared Jones if he was not going to be drafted until there would be hard pressed to take a bonus that low too...especially if Neal signed.
For the guys in that $100k-$600k range of signing bonuses, we can be really competitive to that number over 3 years of NIL here at LSU. When you think about it getting a similar number over 3 years vs. 1 year is much more tax efficient too ($150k over 3 years vs. $450k in 1 year)

I know they've tried to level them out in the past, but it's always a little shocking to see how quickly the slot values drop off.

If we get Kennedy through Jones, that's a great haul. Any more than that...wow.

Not to mention there's a lot more being taken outside of taxes from that $450k than the $150K as well

First number is the Top 200 ranking and the 2nd number is the updated Top 250 just to see trends. Nothing that crazy in the trends except Carter Young though.
Jacob Berry: 7 - 7
Justin Crawford: 13 - 13
Robby Snelling: 16 - 16
Tucker Toman: 42 - 35
Cade Doughty: 55 - 55
Mikey Romero: 62 - 65
Gavin Guidry: 67 - 70
Brady Neal: 85 - 74
Jacob Misiorowski: 83 - 78
Jaden Noot: 75 - 79
Michael Kennedy: 87 - 89
Paxton Kling: 102 - 104
Chase Shores: 127 - 129
Jared Jones: 193 - 198
Carter Young: 159 - 237
I am surprised that Misiorowski and Jones didn't jump up in the rankings after their combine.

Very true, take 10% more off that $450k to pay an agent.

thank you PP7! Rodgers begrudgingly reports LSU's good news but not without A) taking some kind of dig or B) comparing LSU to A&M in less favorable terms.

I don't think we're just fighting with A&M. I think there's a handful of SEC teams involved still. as of last night MS State thinks they might be leading the pack or in the "thick of it"

Miss St is who I'd be watching with Skenes

They’ve made the statement that they won’t lose him due to NIL. Meaning they’re blowing their budget for him.
Tennessee wants him too. They felt good after their visit, but that was a while ago.

Stanford RHP Alex Williams has entered the portal
I could see Jay going after him with west coast connections
He is draft eligible but Kendall said he might pitch in college for another year

Just consolidating Project's portal list:
Matt Keating - P - USC (draft risk)
Mac Guscette - C - Florida
Ethan Rembish - P - Fairleigh Dickinson
Cade Winquest - P - UTA
McGwire Holbrook - C - West Virginia
Kale Davis - P - Oklahoma State (draft risk)
Price - C
Skenes - P/C
Reggie Crawford - P
Keisel - P
Hurston Waldrip - P
Let me know if I missed something.
Outfield: We should be done with the outfield, too many options.
Infield: With Carter, Pineda, Romero and Guidry as draft risk, we could revisit this after the draft but I think we are done here as well.
Catcher: If we get Skenes, I think we are done but word is he will take a little longer to make a decision. If we miss on him and Neal opts for pro ball then I think we start looking at the other guys on the portal list.
Pitching: Too many draft risk to list, so we will see how that plays out. The reality is that we probably already have 19 or 20 solid pitchers regardless of what happens in the draft. I don't think we NEED to take another pitcher but if we can upgrade we probably will. We have the luxury of going after the big names and see who we get.
Unless we add a solid pitcher, I don't think we will see much portal movement until after the draft.
