Think our new volunteer coach will be working with catchers

quote:Looks like he has played a little in the Southeast Collegiate League this Summer. A notch below what you mention but he has at least played some games against older players with some college experience.
They could put him on that BR Rougaroo team too if they want to start him getting higher level ABs.

No one from our recruiting class or current roster has signed yet (except for Labas). I feel like Selvidge is probably close. The Yankees announced a few signings and have an extra $600K to throw at him.
The Royals saved around 2 million on Mozzicato. They will easily be able to get to $3MM for Kudrna, and still give Jensen whatever he wants.

Who's Noah Malone?
He apparently just committed.
Edit: Class of '24

Assuming he’s going to try to play both sports but he only acknowledged the baseball staff in his tweet

so many draft risks in that 2022 class, I think more than any class I can remember off the top of my head. I know things can fluctuate between now and next July but so far we'll be sweating:
Jones
Laviolette
Kling
Toman
Snelling
Neal
Romero
maybe Guidry?
Michael Kennedy?
Feels like there is 7-10 high draft pick caliber players. Watch the frick out if some of these guys make it.

Snelling is a dude. A lefty that consistently hits mid 90’s with his fb and he hits dingers.
Legit offers at LB too, Oregon was recruiting him

Until Mikey Romero committed, we hadn't gotten a commitment for any forward class since like October.
By the looks of it, we're going to be adding a lot to the 2022 class, likely because of what the above poster referenced, everyone is a draft risk right now.
And when you look at a lot of the transfers coming in, Shaffer and McManus are definitely one year guys. Berry and Reyzelman are likely one year guys.
I think he's trying to make hay with the current roster for next year since there is a lot to work with, but then turn it over quick to something he wants.

Snelling looks like a legitimate two way player. At the tournament in Lake Charles a couple weeks ago he hit several HRs and struck out the first 9 batters he faced in his start, which may have also been a no hitter.

Good thing is, LSU is going to be super attractive to transfers without having to sit out. The loss of draft risks become a little less impactful

No. Shaffer and McManus are coming in to play their final seasons of eligibility. They are definitely one year guys.
Berry and Reyzelman both have more eligibility remaining but are likely to only be here one season.

PG only had him listed as an LHP. I'll change it in the list post.
