There seems to be some good veteran arms available in the portal. Tommy Sommer from Indiana could be a good pick up. Tanner Bibee from Fullerton.

Another name to keep an eye on is Dylan Heid. A D2 pitcher from Pitt-Johnstown. Entered the portal yesterday. Lighting up the draft league. Close to 18k per 9 innings. Mid 90s fastball.

I don’t know if that’s still a thing. Southern Nevada was when Harper went there.

IMO LSU needs A LOT of help on the mound next year. Watching the CWS has made that painfully clear to me.

During the Mainirie area, I don't think we recruited well at all with pitching especially the development of pitchers we get. Sure we got Gauseman, Nola, Lang that's good but you need to get quality depth like getting 2 or 3 Marceaux's or Lang's.
I hope our new staff can solve that problem.

I agree. Everybody isn't going to have the arms like Vandy and UF have trotted out over the past several years, but LSU could be better.

The current class was already signed so now it's just waiting out draft
You may have one or two that are talking to other teams just in case
It will be the next two classes put together where you might see some movement but I'm sure they will at least hear out his pitch before decommitting

I wonder when Nolan Cain stopped trying to add to future classes here. Until the two recent flips, the last commit we got for class other than the one about to step on campus was 10/20/20.

Does Luke Leto still exist? Not a single tweet about him at the combine. Not sure if he didn’t show or just didn’t look good. I’m surprised he still hasn’t appeared in his summer league. Him going there was a big deal because he’s a local to that team.
