Griffin Doersching from NKU just entered the transfer portal .314 avg 12 doubles and 20 homers this year. Might be a nice DH option for next year.

D1 baseball just updated the transfer tracker added around 500 names.

I still think freshman RHP Frank Elissalt from LaSalle is worth a look.

JUCO OF Matthieu Vallee that I’ve mentioned here before is off to a strong start in the MLB draft league.

So if I'm reading our list of commits correctly, we have one left handed pitcher committed, Brock Selvidge, and we may lose him to the draft. Is that correct? Has this staff learned anything from the last 4 years?

I’m sure I missed the discussion, but how did we lose the top player in the state to arkansas? I’m assuming he’s going pro, but still.

Bc the staff doesn’t know how to manage the scholarship money for instate recruits is what most seem to be implying

That’s crazy. Tops will give you 4K just for meeting the minimum to get into LSU. It shouldn’t be hard at all to get someone near a full ride.

Not speculating.

Just saying I’m confident he will do a better job with recruiting.

Appreciate all your work and look forward to your info on Sullys recruits

Exciting times ahead.

Keep it out of this thread. I don’t care if you don’t think you’re speculating. Until a hire is announced, it doesn’t need to be here.

Because he isn’t going to college. It’s like when we have had the Trevor Story’s committed, doesn’t matter.

Brennan Holt has reported to his summer league team. There is a picture of him practicing on the leagues Twitter feed. He is playing for the Sanford River Rats in the Florida League. Play starts this week.

Are Pearson and Dugas still scheduled to join him on that team?

The baseball transfer market is going to be popping we should try to get like 4 to 5 guys from other schools that have proven success in D1 baseball.

That’s what I’m thinking about pitchers specifically. If we lose Dugas or Gio to the draft then I can see us wanting an OF, but a starting pitcher with experience is a must get. I just don’t see a formidable rotation next year unless we get Kudnra and Selvedge and they go full freshman Alex Lange.
