WR Carter Arceneaux and OL Josh Billedeaux will be preferred walk-ons. Both signed today.

Arceneaux was one of 3 receivers named to the Acadiana Advocate All-Metro team.

He joined Jack Bech and Jack Pruitt (Southside) on the team.

In 10 games (includes the D II semifinals), Arceneaux was the No. 4 receiver in the metro area with 45 catches for 613 yards and eight TDs.

He also currently holds the No. 4 long jump in the Lafayette area.

If Billedeaux can play center, he might have a chance to see the field in a couple years. He’s kinda short but at 300 lbs he’s heavy enough.

Why is that ‘LSUGent’? Centenary is a great school & opportunity for him to keep playing the sport he loves.

Damn shame UL didn't offer Domingue a scholarship instead of a PWO. Kid can play.

Damn. I’m excited about Arceneaux. Dudes tough as nails. Our receiver group is gonna have to get tough to keep him from taking a spot.

Sounds like Peetz has his goal line fullback a la Copeland.

WR Carter Arceneaux

Shows up often on Walker Howard's junior tape. Kid can play, obviously not an SEC talent or anything, but he's got game to him.

He could turn out to be an SEC talent. Has the speed and athleticism.

Has won some sprints in track season and has a better long jump than Keon Coleman.

You can imagine the numbers he would have put up as a No. 1 WR.

Averaged close to 5 catches a game with Bech having possibly the best season season ever for a local receiver.

Centenary is tiny, in Shreveport, and has a terrible campus atmosphere. The academics are mediocre (some departments are actually pretty good). There are less than 1,000 students there and Centenary started to really crackdown on off campus activities and fraternities by the time I left. And they were actually having accreditation issues as well LINK .
