There was no plan to redshirt Kingsby originally. Wade thought he could help out in the rotation there and we would be 10 (11 with Sims) deep. Kingsby got a rather serious injury or maybe lingering issue that is preventing him from playing.
Wade thought Kingsby could be key to a team that makes a deep run in the tourney. He took his JUCO team to the JUCO national title game last year. I think they believe he's better than Edwards (and is a ball handler, unlike Edwards).

Yeah Wade said he could contribute now if he didn’t have this injury. Hopefully he gets back to full health soon for his own sake.

Think I heard something recently that they expect Kingsby back in a month. He’ll get some run as well, you can never have too many ball handlers.
Scary thought, if Rachal had kept his shite together and Wayde was still with us, we’d be legitimately 12 deep. We’d have endless depth and mismatches throughout the roster.

That's not going to happen. Kentucky as of recent has been trying to recruit. Their interest have peeked within the last two week. Trust me, Miami, Oregon and LSU are the only schools up for consideration. Come next Wednesday, CJ Walker will be a Tiger. LSU is building a pipeline of talent out of the Central Florida Region i.e., Antonio Blakley, Emmitt Williams, Ben Simmons all who played for the Each One Teach One" AAU Team. LSU is also recruiting identical twins guards Demari & Ja’Cari Henderson out of Seminole HS for 2022.

Who are the others? Personally, I think Watford ends up at Bama or Memphis. He’s going to be a tough pull.
