I’m not sure how this thread is even an argument. LSU has the better overall program. Tennessee has been better recently. Neither of those statements are really debatable.

Tenn brings their ss from last year back unless he’s moving to another position

dylan crews and skeens isn't walking thru that door. Tenn has been the best overall baseball program the last 5 years.

you think.
LSU has the best baseball program in the last 45 years. No one is even close. Tenn has been the better program the last 5 years though and they aren't slowing down.

LSU has 7 National Championships, Tennessee is really close behind with ONE.

Jay has been here 3 years.

Tenn loses a lot next year so let’s see who “isn’t walking through that door” for them. Will be interesting to see how they do with all the guys they’re losing.

Tennessee is the team to beat in the SEC. Been that way for a few years now.

God damn that’s dumb. Like, so dumb I couldn’t believe what I was reading as I was reading it.

Hope you’re wearing a helmet, bud.

Consistently, inconsistent. They were 4 outs from throwing up on theirselves again this CWS.

Imagine spending your 4th of July by making a throwaway account on an LSU site just to try and convince people Tennessee is something they’re not.

How bad is life going?

one coach has been at his school for 7 years and just won his first title while the other just finished his 3rd season winning it in his 2nd year. Maybe you should judge them when Jay completes his 7th year at LSU.

I don’t know how anybody could argue LSU is the better program right now.

Muhhhhh, 7 National Titles! All but two won before anyone on the current team was even born.

Titles from 30 years ago means LSU is the better historical program - no doubt. But over the last 3-5 years Tennessee is the better program.

LSU was the better team in 2024, of course.

And none of the above is debatable. But all you mouth breathers in the S. Louisiana heat can beg to differ. That’s fine.

We had one good year. Tennessee has been consistent the last three. But yeah, I guess you can make yourself feel better about it.

That’s cool. Doesn’t mean that what was said was accurate. It was false lol

They lose a ton every year and yet they don't miss a beat.

I'm truly baffled how anyone can disagree with this.

maybe so but their most successful years have been the last 4 years and the last 3 years they have had Burke and Moore at the heart of their lineup. Those 2 are gone. That production will be hard to make up

If you're implying the 90s and 2000s are "ancient times" wtf does that mean for your entire sports program? What a frickin tool to act like winning 7 titles in the last 30ish years is the same as notre dame winning titles in the 1920s.

You just won your first title ever. Let me repeat that. Ever. Get off your high horse and come back to reality dildo.

You finally put it altogther for one season. You were also a game away from losing it all to the aggies. Christ you people are unbearable.

You do realize Vitello has been at TN for 7 years and Jay has been at LSU for 3 years with just as many titles
