Evans is someone that will do what he wants and he will keep you guessing until the announcement. No use in analyzing this recruitment until he puts the hat on. You will drive yourself insane

Well Coach O asked him for a firm yes or no on his in home and Evans wouldn’t give it to him

2 ways to respond

1) Doesn't O ask for recruits' commitment, on EVERY Recruit, he wants?

2) You stated he said this on in an "In Home" visit, where is this cited, but at the same time look up (see #1)

What! well, he is overrated, bust, headcase and likely wont qualify, and I always thought our back up option, whoever he is, is much better anyway.

But really, we just need solid back up to the guys we have now. We can get a stud next year or the year after even.

I really don't understand how we could lose an elite running back to Texas A&M of all programs.

Closer to home. Still have power run concepts in offense. $75 million coach who is going to do everything in his power to get the kid.

I'm not worried about LSU's RB recruiting, but there's something that bothers me about losing a 5 star back to a dumpster fire like Texas A&M.

I hear you, but the kids will do what they want to do, and that doesn't necessarily make it a shot at LSU.

Hell, the #2 running back in the nation is currently committed to Tom Herman's dumpster fire in Austin.

Demond Demas seems committed to going waste three years in College Station.

The #2 defensive end in the nation is committed to going waste his career at UNC.

The #5 running back is going to Miami which is completely irrelevant now.

The #4 OT is going to Nebraska.

All of those kids are signing on to play for shite teams. Why? I don't know, but I can't take that as a shot at LSU.

Burch may end up wasting away for three years in Columbia before he heads to the NFL.

I don’t have sources on other recruits but I do with Evans, and I was told that Evan’s is and has been silently committed to LSU, I’m not saying things can’t change but as of a little while ago he was 100% LSU!

They can change it anytime. But once a guy is committed to a school, they can't change it to the school the guy's committed to. So, like with Gilbert, nobody can change their pick up LSU while he's committed to LSU.

If getting every single carry and getting completely beat down before his NFL career begins, then A&M is for him.

Yeah except they had a true fresh emerge as their lead back in the second half of the year.

But I agree he will not see any success at aTm

Honestly I don’t see any reason for a big time recruit to not sign early and get it over with. Just looking for attention otherwise.

Evans needs to ask the last 5 star, #1 running back that hitched his wagon to Jimbo Fisher how well it turned out for him.

Maybe, but I think there is something to be said about Dabo's policy. I see tons of benefit to telling a recruit once you commit to us, you are all in.

Here’s the thing about Dabo, though. He doesn’t ever pull offers, either. Once someone has a committable offer and pulls the trigger, they don’t move on, either. That is very different from the way O and most other big time recruiters do things. It’s part of the reason why Dabo’s classes usually aren’t this high.

Evans is the very least of my worries. RBs are not program changers any more, we have much larger areas of need

This is how I see it as well. If he comes then great. If he doesn't then oh well. The spot he would've taken can be used to take another great prospect. LSU has a few decent RBs on the roster so they should be ok.

I dunno man.

I’m not sure we beat Bama without CEH.

That spin move for the TD is just a TFL if it’s Fournette or Guice back there.

Guice scores, Fournette likely not.
It was not a superhuman feat, although it was an elite play.

Sampson has already told us Evans isn’t signing here and he’s a legit insider so there’s that
