Vol correct me if I'm wrong but did Emery request to speak to our coaches? And if so was this request made before or after the Georgia game?

He came to us, and the long conversation between he and O occurred after the game.

Seriously, this better not be a "Dwayne Haskins will sign with LSU" thing.

Well, I hope you're right. We'd love to have him be a Tiger.

Mike Detillier has said he didn't believe Emery's recruitment was a done deal. O and Company are bound to be putting on a big press to get him.

Obliterating Georgia in TS can only help- not hurt.

My bookie says one of players who bet with him ,a coach at a school near Destrehan, says Emory is LSU's for the asking. He also said that when asking , LSU may have to be "offering" ,

November 3rd could be the most important game in college football for the next 5 years if LSU takes down the Tide.

It would be a HUGE leap forward for LSU's program and basically nothing short of a seminal event signaling a shift and the beginning of a new era in the college football world.

This is definitely very encouraging news. Sounds like LSU has a real shot at him. Wow, with the talent-laden offensive line we have returning next season, he could be absolutely dynamic in our offense.

Emotion from a huge win for LSU (and loss for UGA) is not going to last in landing Emery.

If we're playing in January and they aren't, then that'll mean more.

Hope the reporter is misinformed... and if he loves that New Orleans atmosphere, why not stay near the real thing?

Last time I went to Athens it could not have been any different from New Orleans if it tried

It's likely; however, they have Florida next followed by @Kentucky. I think they beat Auburn easily. That team is done.

If they lose the next 2 and don't make the SECCG they will not play in Jan. The next 2 will be very tough for UGA.

You really don't think a 9-3 Georgia team will play in a New Year's Day bowl game? Come on, man.

As distasteful as it is LSU needs a booster to step up.
