So stupid

So he wins because he joins a team for which he'll never start. Bama wins because they burn a scholly for a player they didn't even need. Lots a stupid.

But Slade Bolden got on the field so I guess there's a chance.

Mostly on special teams and due to injuries at WR, but he was just kinda there.

I doubt Lewis gets anything beyond special teams and maybe some pity snaps in blowouts with their depth.

Is Lewis a high effort type of guy? That's the kind guys that get early playing time on special teams.

It's so easy to jump on board of a winning program...it doesn't take guts or confidence and it certainly doesn't build character. You are essentially basking in the glory that those before you have brought.
Better, in my humble opinion, to be a part of a program rich in tradition but struggling as of late. Be one of the building blocks that bring greatness to that program once again. And you can be proud that you made a difference for that team and its' fans with your efforts.
Let's move on from those "jumpers" and celebrate the hungry talent that chose to be in Purple & Gold as Fighting Tigers!

Bama wouldn’t offer that much more for a 3 star TE whenever they have that much depth. He’s a Bama groupie, plain and simple. They everywhere.

Well he is 4th on the depth chart when he gets there in the SUmmer, Tatu?? is back as starter, Ouztz is the 2nd teamer and Brown who they signed in December is enrolled at mid-term and will go through spring ball.

At LSU he is 3rd team coming in, only 1 of 2 Scholarship TE's and could likely hit the field soon.

Is this the day LSU football dies? For realz. We can’t even keep marginal in state players. I hope he meets some Bama alums in Louisiana who’ll take care of him when he’s finished with football.

I gotta say this one hurts. A New Iberia kid!

Honest questions: Where was it held? The gym? Classroom? And - was there any discord/booing in the crowd? If there was one, I mean.

Yes - kinda sorta.
Bama will be good to him to get the other kid coming out next year. (I think it's next year) Gump can afford the roster spot and to pay him more than others. Maybe give him PT on ST's to keep him happy.
If it's clear they are not in the running for the next kid they drop him like he's Statistics 101.
Too bad for the boy around home, too. He will always be known as: "Yeah - you know, da one dat done gone to Bama".

NIL will do nothing but get these kids a few dollars only to waste their career transferring for playing time afterwards.Once you get the first little bit if you aren’t a starter or impacting on the field they not gonna pay you nothing till you are an impact player. It’s a joke
You should have started a thread with this.
It's one of those things that everybody knows but until you're made blatantly aware of it, you don't give it the weight it warrants.
