Let Lindsey Scott be Lindsey Scott

The comparisons to Russell Wilson, Drew Brees and Herb Tyler are so old already.
The kid is smart, hard-working, athletic and throws a nice ball. From listening to his HS coach, he is a preparation machine and is a natural leader and another coach on the field.
Lets get him and let him be Lindsey Scott.

You can say this about any athlete..
I don't know that there's anything wrong with the positive comparisons. Especially considering his own family seems to have high respect for Russell Wilson.

Pretty sure a 17 year old kid is pretty pumped to be compared to two superbowl winning qbs.

After he leaves LSU, we will be comparing future recruits to him. So...game on.

You are totally correct. LS will be LS - not anyone else. Hope we get him and his athletics and leadership.

He kinda reminds me of Marcus Vick with his not wanting to be compared to anybody

C'mon Bert. People are having fun on a message board. He's not even an LSU tiger or taken a snap in college and you're already tired of the comparisons?
you may want to find another board.

At this point, I'm still hoping he chooses to be an LSU Tiger! He seems like a sharp kid with great talent.

Great point. this is only done due to his height. If he was 6'4 there would be no reference to Jamarcus Russel, Zach Mettenberger Tom Brady or Ben Rothselsberger.
This constant focus on his height is annoying. Blake Sims is only 6'0 and played well for Alabama in 2014.

...yeah , I know when I was in high school I got seriously tired of always being compared to Albert Einstein ...
