Would be nice to see them up there every weekend getting Moffit strong and drills in..more impact for this coming season!

Willis is a huge blow to the class. Valentine is solid but no where near willis' level of play. There's no way around that.
I'm glad we got someone who wants to be a tiger in Valentine. He has all the potential to be an excellent DT

I disagree and so do most people that do this for a living.
Valentine is the no. 3 DT in the country and Willis is no. 2..
We will know for sure in a few years who is better, but Willis and Valentine are most certainly on the same level.

I prefer Valentine's character any day over Willis...I talked to coaches that always said Willis has an attitude problem.

Willis is soft and has trouble getting off of blocks. People comparing him to Shareif Floyd need their head examined.

Speedy is the only one we took a hit on that day. There just aren't replacements for people like that very often. But the good news there is that guys like speedy fill a niche that doesn't need to be filled. Just a unique talent.

As it turned out, we didn't take a big hit on anyone THAT day. To play Noil you'd have to sit Quinn or Dupre. Noil is a special player, but we got two great ones at his position. Maybe the return game is where we'd miss him. TB is at a position where we're absolutely loaded, and have the best of the best coming next year. Willis was replaced by an equal, plus he has obvious character problems (but he is good).
The one we will live to regret is CR, but not from "That Day"

I believe this all day long. I think in 3-4 years LSU fans will be happy we got Valentine and not Willis. I'll bet Valentine sees significant playing time earlier in his career too.

Gerald Willis wasnt going to be eligible anyway...plus he is a hothead! WIll Muschamp can have that problem waiting to happen!
