I serious doubts he'll ever be at Alabama.

Coming from you that means a lot. Thx for the honest assessment Cap.

I doubt he signs with Alabama now. We just picked up a commit from a JuCo OT. We'll most likely just look for an elite OG and call it a day. I just really like KSM.

Oh, okay... I hear ya...

Why did St Aug change helmets, but keep the gold/yellow jerseys?

You mean from the old purple helmets? School made a complete overhaul of the uniforms back in '10 to start fresh...

Leonard's younger brother is really named Lanard?

Yep... He also have another half bro that plays for ESJ named Leonard...

LSU will have older depth by 2014

Of the 3 guys we have now with eligibilty for 2014 (Hilliard, Hill and McGee) 1 will probably go pro in 2014. Looks like we will only sign 1 RB in this class at most. Would certainly seem like a more favorable depth chart at LSU.

I guess I am going to have to trust the coaches on this one. He looked like a good RB to me but the first half of the video he looked like he was playing against slow midgets. Would have liked to see him breaking tackles that nobody has any business breaking. Mostly just him breaking arm tackles and running to daylight.

Before you bash me I am commenting on the VIDEO, not passing judgement on the kid. Like I said I will have to defer to the coaches and do at this point.

I mean they went from an LSU gold to a Washington gold. The jerseys still look like they're the LSU gold though. No biggie, just asking.

I've thought Greg Jones pre injuries and eventual move to FB.

He was just a monster, the power that a 6-1, 240 RB should have, but the explosion of a smaller back.

ETA: LF may have have more long speed though...

I think Leonard just makes it look easy because he actually is playing against some good talent.

Yeah... He frosh yr he came out with a vengeance behind a bone crushing o-line... Last yr he was coached to play soft because he was surrounded by inexperience and it got him in trouble early in the season... This yr will be a different story... He is going to be hard to stop behind a monstrous line along with gaining 15+ lbs of mass... If anyone is available to attend, come check us out in a rematch against Edna Karr 8/25/12 or sooner at the ESJ scrimmage...

This will be his last year at 4A right? Senior year will be back in the Catholic league and 5A.

Yep... Have to go out with a bang, but it's going to be one heck of a ride to get back to the promise land with Neville, Karr, STM, etc. in the way...

I miss those WM battles though...

Just watched his highlights for the first time. I was expecting a power runner a la K. Hillard; but it's really more about his speed. He looks very fast and fluid...kinda like Eric Dickerson. How fast is he?

It's misspelled in the article... I'm in the process of trying to contact the author to correct the errors...

bulldogger, check his 2010 highlights if you want to see him more as a power runner...

STAUG95, what do you think his current height and weight is at right now, because some sites put him at 6 ft 215, but others say 6'2" around 230?
