247 moderator from his region saying he is trending towards Oklahoma. Luckily for us, we still have plenty of time to swing things back in our favor.
I still think we land him eventually, but it's going to be fight
Edit: It's not an insider, it's a moderator - Brian Dohn - who covers the East coast for 247, not for OU. He is one of their regional guys.

OU fans are a lot like Bama fans. They think whoever they are recruiting is a shoe in for their class. Doesn’t always work out that way lol

Not sure exactly which “insider” you are referring to, lovethetigers7, but most of the OU mods on 247 I’ve seen are clowns.
Many throw their CBs in for OU simply because that’s where they hope the kid lands.
Not trying to call you out for posting this, just want to give you my two cents on these tool bags.
Either way, thanks for sharing.
P.S., I still love where LSU stands, and I believe we still lead for him (just my opinion)!

There wasn’t a whole lot of “why” behind his pick to OU other than him talking about sooner summit.

B. Dohn is much more reliable than the OU insiders.
That said, I still like LSU chances for Leigh and don’t understand what Dohn and Wiltfong are basing their decision on but oh well!! Thanks again!

It’s not an option to miss on Leigh for LSU. He’s as close to a must get that I can remember. I know Caleb Williams is working him hard, but some of the posters on this site who have inside info still seem to think he comes here.

The C. Williams angle is pretty much all the Dohns, Wiltfongs, and Farrells of the world are going off of.
Other than that bit, The only other tidbit for them changing their prediction to Oklahoma is because Tristan didn’t commit to LSU after his visit with girlfriend. From that, they must have inferred the reasoning behind it is because he is more interested in Oklahoma.
I don’t buy it. And I don’t believe his friendship with another recruit will outweigh the benefits that LSU can offer over OU (like early playing time)

I'm going to say we have a "solid lead" for Leigh.
The kicker is what LSU fans did for his Mom at a game. It's out there look it up. LSU fans won her heart that day. That counts for alot.

As GetmorewithLes said the mods are trying to get clicks on a normal year they would be flooded this close to early signing day but with no official visits/unofficial visits there is not much for them to talk about
