Picks percentage doesn’t mean shite. They can change their pick at anytime and as many times as they want and most do it at the last minute when everybody knows what said recruit is doing.

This is a great point I20goon, the kindness and care extended to Leigh’s mom also made a big impact on Tristan himself.

He mentions the particular incident (which occurred at the TA&M game in 2019) during his OTB interview this past summer.

Also agree with you that his recruitment remains open, so we got to close strong with him. As it relates to closing on recruits, the way Orgeron closed out Sage Ryan’s recruitment gives me confidence for likewise closing out TL!

Whatever happens, T. Leigh’s recruitment has been intense for Tiger fans as this kid is just so dam good and we need him so dam bad.
Admittedly, I’d take Tristan Leigh over Korey Foreman if the situation required me to pick between the two on signing day!!!

Rather finish with all 4 and drop a current prospect. Trade Forman for one of the WDE/OLB we are taking.

I echo your sentiment here. The quality of Leigh Byrd and Dellinger would make up for the lack of quantity IMO

There's a simple reason Leigh didn't commit to LSU after his visits. He has said all along he wanted to take his OFFICIAL visits before committing. He was hoping the NCAA would lift the ban. Didn't happen and now they have extended it. Pretty sure I read somewhere he has set a commitment date.

Shea Dixon said he’s an OU lean right now.

I can understand this. Sooners having a much better season than LSU, playing just as many young players with both teams in a rebuild year.” Unlike LSU, their season hasn’t gone to the crapper. Plus, it’s clear as long as Riley is at OU, OUs offense will be top notch. LSU, on the other hand, clearly isn’t the same without Brady.

LSU appeared to be the clear destination after the September visits. But no matter what happened on the recruit/player led visit, I would have to think that the way the season has played out has had to have some sort of impact for any recruit who is not blind and who was truly on the fence.

The key is to keep Naquan Brown in this class. Him and Leigh are close.

This isn’t as big a deal to an OT as it is to a skill position player.

Its basically an announcement show now. Bunch of kids committing on tv. Leigh, Foreman, Smith and Jardin Gilbert could all announce that day. Gilbert is scheduled already.
