Many, many were. Dude was a mini celebrity around these parts for a couple of years. Not quite Belowpar but he definitely had a few eating out of his hand.
I will say about him, he seemed right more than wrong, par for the course in an industry where a couple of bad calls can ruin your reputation. Regardless, in hindsight, those were certainly fun, exciting times on the board. Too bad both of those classes were shite in terms of production. That entire staff seemed much better at acquiring talent than evaluating it, Aranda included.

Aranda just developed it, that was the difference and it's not really debatable with his time here.

Daaaaang RIP VOLTIGER. I use to love most of his insight because he was spot on for a while

Assuming he wasn’t just an elaborate troll (which he might have been) I seem to remember some of his intel was correct which earned him a reputation as a good source for info.
Some posters claimed he was just regurgitating info from pay sites but I didn’t care either way.
I think overall the recruiting landscape was changing with NIL and LSU was still stuck in the old recruiting days. Recruits might give a silent commitment which leaked to insiders and another school would drop a bag and the recruit is gone. Then BK got hired and fired all the AD leaks.

VolTiger
I think I was volTiger truther for bit.
Pain
As was I. In Vol's defense, I think his sources dried up with the Departure of Les. He was often spot on before that. He also fell prey to the same thing a few coaches did, believing what a player's camp was saying when they were lying through their teeth.
At least that was sort of what he said and it did sort of look that way.

That sums up how I interpreted VolTiger as well.
It sure seems quiet about the 2 pass rushers that are announcing today.
I see a thread on Lafayette, but not much talk on either of them.

Brown and Lafayette would be a nice day for sure.
Only other really big fish out there to land are Matthews, Geralds, and Gray.

It's still Bollingers shipyard but Ben Bordelon is the ONLY Bollinger still remaining in upper management. Ben married into the family. He married Boise's (SP)daughter

What? Ben’s mom is Boysie’s daughter

Ben married Boysie's daughter. Pretty sure that's his connection to the Bollinger's.
