Top players from Baton Rouge go to Uhigh where they literally get treated like kings of the school. They love all of the benefits of being at HS on LSU campus like occasional practice at the LSU indoors. Uhigh stadium is 30ft from the LSU practice facility.
For recruitment, they think “well, I’ve been pretty much at LSU for 4 years, time to go try a different SEC school”.
Cycle repeats every year. LSU needs to close that school down or at least reduce the size.

It’s not inexcusable anymore if you don’t have the $$ to exceed the other offers, as in Stewart & Brown. This is just the fact now. It’s not about how well you recruit anymore. It is clearly about how much $$ we can offer. Some La kids still have a built in loyalty to LSU, and that helps, but 4-6 million is life changing money to them at 23 years old(and the majority of posters on this board)whenever they finish their 3-4 years of college.

Yep. It’s time that LSU fans start realizing the fact that LSU will not be able to contend with other top colleges when it comes to how much they can offer an elite recruit. So therefore LSU will probably be whiffing on most of the elite talent in the state from here on out unfortunately. LSU will never be able to outbid Texas or Texas A&M for the top guys and that’s why they will win the majority of the battles with LSU. This is why I hate NIL.
