We have it seems all IOL guys which we need desperately (1-2 which are on flip alert to OM). But why don't we have at least 1 or 2 tackles? Does this concern anyone else?

I read a scouting report on Curne awhile back and the thought is he may end up as a tackle at the college level, fwiw. He’s definitely athletic enough, but I guess it depends on the eval for each school. We need at least one more tackle in this class - Thomas or Nash from the FSU class would be nice.

Always want a true T or two in each class, but you can always get proven guys out of the portal.

They have young guys like Davis on the roster that will be studs at tackle.

I thought Brian kelly was all about building through the high school ranks.

I do believe curne could possibly be a tackle but Davis needs to land another one. Of course they are going to hit the portal for next yr but need to land high school kids.

Hankton and Davis both have concerns.

Curne and Miller are athletic enough to be tackles

I think they have a few kids that can play OT as well as someone like Lafleur

Weston Davis and Tyree Adams will probably be our Tackles next year.

Ory and Bo will likely be the next guys up, unless a true Freshman like Curnes comes in and shakes everything up.

Yup... one Guard to round out the line, IMO.

I think we shift Chester to Guard and see what we've got in Echols at Center. I don't think Mubenga is the long-term solution at Guard and Chester would probably fare better at Guard than Center.

Once Adams comes back, he's probably the front runner to take either Jones' or Campbell's spot, and Weston Davis is the other.

Lsu took a big tackle class last year, and took a big interior class this year

When recruiting OL from HS you recruit traits not position. They feel Miller and Curne have the traits to play inside or outside. Take Campbell and Jones for example, many feel both are OGs at the pro level but are supposed elite OTs in college. Some teams will see one or both as OTs. Skill level changes perspective.

it’s pretty hard to tell what we have at Tackle right now because Campbell and Jones are taking every snap.

I had a feeling Adams was the next man up at every position.

But I dont see that as a reflection on the potential of any of the freshmen players like Davis, Callaway and Echols.

that being said, when you go into a season with 1 returning starter, you should snag a few transfers.

How many years with it take for $100 million to have a complete roster with depth?

This is the group, but i also expect us to get one from the portal.

I like the 4 guys we got this class as guards and i don't want to move any of them outside.

I don't believe that's true. We are terrible at reestablishing the LOS. We get 0 interior push. This team desperately needs some nasty maulers at Guard and Center.
