Pretty obvious Lane wasn't sold on him or felt he has 'X' amount of WR spots filled with better candidates.

Really weird circumstances around this one. This has played out really odd...

It may sound mean, but 6' 180# WRs grow on trees in this state.
With the thing going on with Frank, it looks like CLK is re-evaluating recruting in state.

And this is the WM homer in me, but if Trez Davis is not good enough to get an offer, then Lane is really changing up the skill position recruiting at LSU.

But I wasn't blown away by him. I don't think he's physical at all, and didn't blow the doors off the competition with his speed. Airline wasn't that good and they had to use him ALOT. Hence the gaudy numbers.

I do see the speed thing but he has great leaping ability and hands. Also a good route runner. Knew where to sit down in coverage. Barber looks much faster and more explosive but not as complete as a receiver. Both good players.
