New Orleans is barely producing talent lately. I don't give a shite what they think tbh. The highest rated New Orleans recruit last year was 7th in the state and didn't get an offer. The highest this year is 12th.

They care about who is going to coach them up and get them in The League.
They don't care if the coach is a trans-sexual labrador retriever if he accomplishes the above.

People expecting us to suddenly start landing tons of blue chip midwest linemen and TE need to calm themselves. Geography plays a factor there.

IMO the only coaches better recruiters than Kelly: are Saban, Riley, Day, Dabo and Urban*

Doesn't knowing HS Coaches and have a good relationship have a effect on recruiting? I expect Kelly can attract big linemen from that area.

Imagine what he can do when academic requirements aren't as high as ND. That limits your pool tremendously.
