I advise him to look elsewhere for his own health. Our luck with OSU DBs have been sketch

Seeing he wasn’t ranked out of high school. Why was he a take for Ohio state?

Was only at Warren Easton for his first 2 years of high school. Then left for Cincinnati
And I’m seeing he was a 4 star on Rivals.

Can’t be worse than what we got

His freshman highlights don't look impressive. Poor tackling technique on those tackles. Does anyone teach form tackling to these kids anymore?

I see that now. 247 just doesn’t have anything for some reason

Here’s his 24/7 breakdown out of highschool

Sounds like a 4-5 star
Wonder why he wasn’t ranked

Gabe Brooks NATIONAL SCOUTING ANALYST PROJECTION Power-5 Starter COMPARISON Marco Wilson ARIZONA CARDINALS Natural cover corner with encouraging frame relative to position projection. Good height. Long and lean with a wiry, athletic build. Should add some bulk with continued physical development. Displays promising turn-and-run ability. Speed to stay with receivers in vertical game. Receivers do not get on top of him easily. Plays with swagger. Combines that with long levers to provide press effectiveness. Looks fairly fluid for a young, taller corner. Disruptive at the catch point. Shows suddenness when breaking on the ball. Sometimes high in his backpedal and can improve pad level consistency. Lacks athletic context from combine testing and track perspectives. High-major corner with good anticipation and functional athleticism with long-term NFL Draft upside.

He wasn’t ranked his junior year when he was at Warren Easton. His senior year at Lakota West in West Chester, OH, he was a 4 star recruit and the #30 CB in the 2022 class per 247. LINK

Jordan Allen retweeted his announcement. Also, Brown has posted a lot of stingley plays. Looks good for the home team

I haven't seen him play at Ohio State of course, but thought he was good in high school. I'd take him.

This seems like an automatic take to me

Both former 7-on-7 teammates with the Bootleggers
I believe Brown entered the portal with the intention of coming back to Louisiana.
In 2022 he played the most snaps of any freshman on defense for the Buckeyes.
