Vol I'm convinced is passing along info coming from some of the LSU coaches. I don't believe he is lying about anything. His expectations were high and he felt confident enough to share that with us. That's where the problem always seems to come from. Once things are said like "the elevator only goes up from here" a lot of us Tiger fans put faith in that. All of the enthusiasm (by Vol or anyone else) should always be tempered with the fact that recruits can and often do change their minds.

Vol you understand recruiting. If you’re right everyone loves you. When you’re wrong the pitchforks and torches come out.

I don’t know your sources and they may be great and they may be BS, but recruiting is so fluid it’s hard to take anyone seriously especially on a free board. Unless you know a person sitting in that war room, your alleged info is as good as it gets. Legit or not, have thick skin. You’d celebrated of you were right but you’re getting battered for being wrong. Keep putting your info here whether is what we want to hear or not

Most of these posters are idiots.

While I hate to see you quit posting . . . it is totally understandable given the idiots on this board that think recruiting has ANY definitive answers along the way. The staff gambles with their time and interest they show in specific recruits knowing that they are limited as to how many they can eventually sign. You win some and lose some.

The overwhelming majority of posters were creaming in their pants last week with all the rewards for the coaches and players . . . one week later they are bashing the recruiting efforts of the same coaches.

It is the posters that don’t have the chest for the process that should voluntarily remove themselves from the Recruiting Board . . . not someone who has tried to help others understand and answer their questions along the way.
