Where the frick are you even finding that number? We have moved up to 5 (from 6) at On3 and 10 (from 12) in their Industry ranking.

247 has us at 12 and 11 in their composite.

If you are looking at ESPN or Rivals then you’re dumber than I thought.

Except that’s not our rank. On3 has overtaken all other sites in recruiting. ESPN and rivals are a joke. We are 6th nationally and 3rd in the sec.

How many minutes before someone posts composite on3 and doesn’t know how look at on3’s ranking.

It’s more to do with the cherry picking of rankings on known garbage sites. It’s not like people took espn and rivals seriously last year or even for the last few years.

No big time DB’s and NO DT’s to speak of. Biggest needs of the team and they didn’t address it. And before you start about Wingo and Smith coming back, Wingo is serviceable and Smith would be a backup at best at any other SEC school

You are correct. You’ll get smoked on here for your opinion, though. The people saying rankings don’t matter have been saying it every year since 2020. They haven’t been right yet.

This. We are like 0.3 away from 6th in the on3 composite. That is more than made up for by the margin of error in judging talent. It’s basically a wash between the teams at 4-15. The classes are all close. The class is not too 3-elite, but it’s definitely not worthy of overall criticism. More than enough talent to compete for the SEC championship.
