I dont think you realized how far they have fallen. For numerous reasons. Coaching, Katrina, etc.
Yeah I know, but this stuff ebbs and flows. I'll grant you that St. Aug had down years too. But it's not like a school like parkway baptist has been churning out the talent for years. St. Aug is pretty hot right now and they have a guy who is potentially a top 5 national recruit next year.
Anyway, I live in NOLA, and I know St. Aug hasn't had a lot of success, especially in the win category. They've had a run of crappy coaches.

Why would anyone on here argue with Lester Earl, he is the biggest tool, or "fool" that I have seen on here. Don't encourage him.

the funny thing is people think im hating on st aug. When all im saying is they aren't as much of a powerhouse as people think. You're a pussy if that insults you.

Saban is paying recruits because he can't recruit good players without $$$.
He is getting a network of HS coaches hired in LA so they can steer kids to UA.
He is still gonna pay the recruits though.
He is offering LA recruits for the sole purpose of hoping LSU spend all their times/resources recruiting player.
There's gotta be more. What am I missing?

Yeah, but our issues happened way before Katrina... Dates back right after my yrs at AUG '96... We lost plenty of leadership within the admin.(retirements, deaths, etc.) and ended up hiring fools as replacements... New guidelines were implemented which took a huge chunk out of enrollment... We also lost 3 feeder schools as well: Bell, Phillips, & Gregory... We became the doormats of the Catholic League and only had 2 winning seasons '99 & '00... It actually started Rummel's great run... Also, plenty of the black ath went to our rivals: Jesuit, BM, McD35, etc...

I challenged him to name a good legit college player at a D-1 school from 95-2005. He couldnt. He challenged me to find other schools that put out players from 2005-2012. I found 3, and barely had to look. Say what you want.
