The Texas sources alluded to it, but it definitely seems like baseball is having an outsized impact on his decision-making. His initial interest in A&M started with Schloss and now that he is at Texas that appears to be a major factor. There are conflicting reports about a home visit with Jay Johnson, but perhaps that didn’t go as well for LSU as many of us might have assumed. Johnson may not be as high on him as Schloss (or at least he didn’t give the appearance that he is).

I mean with Williams. All I’ve read from several posters is that his dad is a judge and this kid won’t be influenced by money. Seems a little strange Texas comes out of nowhere last week after he visited for a day. Couple that with their pedestrian football recruiting class for 2025. Seems to me they are getting desperate.

All we heard the week leading up was that he was coming to LSU right after though and then it's weather, then another story of Texas getting him to not visit.

Don't know about Texas getting him to not visit, but it sure doesn't look good that after his Texas visit. He didn't make it to the Bayou Splash and now isn't even coming in for supposedly that more of a one on one visit with the baseball coaches.

Welp! Although it may be unlikely the Fegans kid from Alabama looks really nice. His film reminds me of Jamal Adams a little. He’s a ballhawk and comes in like a missile when tackling.

I don’t think there’s any chance the weather is a factor here. This was all money. Either way I get the impression this one isn’t over.

Once again makes zero sense that LSU is completely out of the race all of the sudden. Same thing was being said about Pickett and we saw how that turned out.

I'm getting to the point with SOME insiders that I don't believe anything they say. They want to appear to be more tapped in with recruits than they really are, and actual reporting turns into spinning the situation so as to seem like they knew what was happening all along.
