I don't get the UF pitch but I know they're trying. Aggies have been trying to get him to flip since he committed. LSU just has to finish off strong.

Not speaking of Calloway specifically, but coaches are promoted from the FCS level to P5 level all the time.
Mike Yurcich, OC at Texas, was hired as OC at Oklahoma State from the DIII level.
Calloway was one of the top offensive coordinators in FCS. I'm sure he had better opportunities than analyst at LSU, but chose this path as a better stepping stone.
Arguably, Calloway has a significantly better resume than Brady had when he was hired at LSU.
That said, I'm not advocating for Calloway.
