Joel mentioned on Twitter last night that he would announce at 2 pm today? He is listed as a 4 star local kid. Shows LSU as a finalist. Anyone know about him? Is he looking at us?

I spoke to his dad a month or so ago. He said Joel wants to be a Tiger. His dad wants him to go to Alabama (he was wearing a Bama wristband when I saw him). I guess it's just a matter of whether or not LSU wants him.
I don't claim to be an insider, I just had a quick conversation with him. Same thing happened with Jacoby Stevens's dad a couple years ago before his freshman year.

I don't think there was a committable offer because we thought we had Greene locked up along with Toles. That could change now. Who knows?

Yep he signed. Lsu waited to late but signed on 19th.
