Joe McKnight was on WNOL interview last night and stated that he was leaning LSU and each visit with Les, Les would state he would be used like Bush was used at USC. He went as far as to show him tapes etc. He said that it was Les who made him realize why not just go to USC.

No one cares anymore
He was not the next Reggie Bush
LSU did not lack for running backs without him
USC is not a bad place to go if you want to leave the state - can't blame him for that, USC was a destination place at that time.

Note to recruits. This is why you are better off signing with the home team because when you don't do jack at the next level you come back home crawling on your hands and knees.

Dude does not have a pot to piss in nor a window to throw it out of. He is so full of shite he never gave LSU a shot nor a second chance. He was USC all day every day!

He got fricking drafted after 3 years. It's dumb that people call him a bust.

Now, an argument could be made as to whether his career could have been better had he played CB his entire career instead of RB. But he wasn't a failure at RB.

Last I checked he was still employed by the Kansas City Chiefs and on IR. So he has plenty of pots to piss in and windows to toss his piss from.

Overrated big time! deserving 5*? Hardly! And what hasn't been mentioned were his NUMEROUS fumbles trying to field punts. You know how some teams kick away from guys? The smart teams would kick TOWARDS JM...I didn't even watch USC that much and he fumbled way too many punts and I saw him fumble on plays from scrimmage also. The guy might have rated a 5* out of HS...more accurate rating would have been a medium 4* (and with Christmas around the corner, I'm being generous)

Ya the Joe McKnight bashing is pretty comical. Dude battled injuries and still had 1,000 yards his last season at USC.

Joe was a great talent but I don't ever recall thinking after he signed w/ SC "we sure could use Joe McKnight." We never missed him other than recruit rankings.
