Joe Burrow graduate transfer with two years eligibility is on the market.

Seeing a lot of talk about him eyeing LSU as a potential transfer location. Looks like a 4 star prostyle with size. Has two years left and his immediately eligible as he is a graduate transfer. He redshirted and got a medical redshirt last year after he broke his throwing hand.
He went 22 for 28 in spring game for OSU.
He is 6'3" 220.

Normally opposed to chasing a quick fix at the QB spot but Burrow is really good. Would be great to bring him aboard.

I would almost guarantee a QB would transfer if he came in, probably McMillian since it's the writing on the wall situation there for him. I believe he graduates this May, or maybe summer, so he could graduate transfer.

Supposedly O was at the Alexandria Rotary Club today and made a cryptic statement about having some news in the next week that LSU fans would absolutely love.
It's not a totally unreasonable assumption that means he thinks he's getting Burrow, especially given how the Tre Watson thing played out.
Or whether he thinks he's getting him or not Burrow ends up at Nebraska or Florida, and O has a ton of egg on his face a la Surtain and we spend the summer griping and grumbling.
High stakes poker around here right about now.

Don't know if he's any good but if he transfers in, at least two of the guys we have now will transfer out. Not saying they should but probably what would happen.

Look, if you got Burrow and he turned out to be really good, then he's here a year and goes pro. I know he has two years of eligibility but the odds are he won't use both of them. We have kids with eligibility left who go out as undrafted free agents, for crying out loud. There is no reason to think Burrow would stick around for two years.
So there is little reason Myles Brennan would want to pick up and leave because Burrow comes. Physically Brennan is a year away; the main problem with him is he's just too skinny. Burrow buys him another year of development, and then Brennan gets to compete for the job as a junior.
If that's not good enough for him, so be it. But he's not ready yet. The fact he couldn't beat out McMillan this spring is proof of that.
I'm rooting for Brennan, but not to be a bad quarterback at LSU. We need a kid behind center who can play. If that's not him yet then we need somebody else. It's just that simple.
