If we lose Dupre and Young(which I really don't think we will get) and the other in state guys we already lost that is not good. How can a power house like LSU lose big time in state recruits. This would mean we have lost, Robinson, Jones, Noel, Dupre and Young.
That in itself would be mind blowing considering the level that LSU is at right now.

Really want kelly in this class to fill all the needs. Didn't feel good about him when he didn't commit on his visit. Felt that way with Brown when he resisted to commit early. When they are thought to be leans and don't commit, it's a sign.

We actually had a great chance at landing Carter thanks to Brick. A better shot than most gave us credit for. But it was too little too late unfortunately.

Yeah that's exactly what happens.
Recruits are fans. Recruits have family members that are fans. You think these kids don't have family members and friends that like to trash the coaching staff just like a lot of people on here do? That's the culture that's been created and if you think it has no effect on their decision making then you're mistaken. How can it not affect them?
You may not want to hear it but the majority of these recruits come to play for the coach. If no one around them respects the coach, then why should they? And speaking from someone that went to school OOS, you're wrong. Every major college football program is not the same. The level of entitlement with the LSU fanbase is rivaled by few programs.

It doesn't help, bu I agree with you. The impact of bitchy fans (and every fan base has them) is way overblown on this board. It's just what happens when you have a competitive and passionate group of people sometimes.
