Because people don't understand recruiting or the job of a writer.
People request prediction pieces almost daily on here, on their websites, or in person. Then, when it's wrong, they get upset.
They're literally trying to predict what an 18 year old kid is going to do. Does everyone remember yourselves at 18?

I agree the outcome of the game has no impact on his decision, and there's little to no chance he comes here, but what happened the last time LSU and ND went head to head for a recruit? I bet ND fans said the same thing you are about that one.

Do you guys have info on Tillery's final decision to go to ND? I know he has been committed for some time, but I don't know if he made a comment on that recently.

He has informed both sides of his decision and has shut down his recruitment. He is a done deal for ND.

it just appears to be heading that way. He has never given LSU a reason to think he would flip. However, he did give us a fair shot as he visited multiple times.
Plus, he sent in EE paperwork to ND and not to LSU.

The reason for these articles are to show how fluid the recruiting scene is and informing readers on the latest happenings and what to expect. Last year was brutal for all so I figured I would help shed some light on how/when things go down.

Jimmy, not a fan of yours for many good reasons. However, have to defend you on this one, as much as I don't care for you.
Jimmy can't read minds people. He has real sources and he does get information from them. This includes coaches at LSU and recruits. His information is way better than your information, which is why you get upset when some or a lot of his predictions don't come true.
You can choose to follow him and/or recruiting in general or not. If you choose to, understand he will probably be wrong as much as he is right, just like anyone making predictions. That's just the nature of that business. Deal with it.

Guy, you need to rent a brain. As I stated, few said Noil was going to LSU weeks before the announcment. Jimmy Smith stuck with LSU and yeah, he had egg on his face. Now, you can try to scam people into believing everyone missed Noil....they didn't. Many had A&M MONTHS before the announcement. What are "legit sources"? And once again, missing 3 out of 5 is one thing. Then trying to spin it into being right and accepting congratulations from Twitter followers was laughable. Sure he heard stuff at the last minute and warned about 2 out of 5. Wow, Nostradamus at his best doing so an hour before the announcement. A day late and a dollar short.
