This guy looks like a giant on his highlight tape. His speed seems deceptive.

Per Rivals he is:

6'1"
220lbs
4.63 secs

He has stayed in shape and has told Shea that he is in the best shape of his life. Been hitting the gym everyday. He will probably have some stamina work to do but otherwise he is good to go.

Great to hear!

Hill has more straight line speed than Hilliard by a country mile. They are about the same size, but Hilliard seems to like the contact a little more. That 4.88 doesn't reflect conditions. Hill us going to be almost impossible to catch unless your angles are perfect. This is a monster recruit. This is great news.

Welcome Mr. Hill. Finally, the 1st good news of the 2012-2013 season. Hopefully, we shall have many more good news throughout the season.

We finally get some good news and this thread can't get to page 2.

well most people knew he was committed, it was just double secret on the DL until yesterday

*ETA: having legal issues also hurts the enthusiasm for many (not me. what he did wasn't a big deal at all and i defended him plenty last year)

Hilliard did a great job once Miles realized that he was our best RB, but honestly, after reading all the articles and watching film ,I really think that Hill is the better of the two.

Seems to have great vision and gets to the hole. Imagine Hilliard and Hill as a two-headed monster in two years.

He's easily the best 6th string back in America. Not a crack at him, just a testament to the ridiculous depth at LSU.
